The Illinois Attorney General announced two opportunities for Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE-AA) didactic training. The first session will be provided Feb. 25 – 27 and the second session will be provided May 13 – 15.

This training is designed for nurses, advance practice providers, and physicians that complete pre-coursework and have an identified mentor (must be a Child Abuse Pediatrician, pediatric SANE (SANE-P), or physician assistant sexual assault forensic examiner (PA SAFE)).

The Attorney General’s Office may limit the number of attendees from an agency or geographical area to maximize representation across the state. Written communication detailing acceptance or non-acceptance will be sent via email to all applicants.
